Problem solving is something I have always loved. Becoming more efficient at what I do is a habit I've always had.
Whether I am behind a keyboard, sitting in a laboratory, or out in the woods, I am never one to half-ass a problem. There's a hail-storm rolling in? I'll get the campfire started. Our client needs test results in 2 days? I have no problems skipping lunch and staying late. My code looks like it could be improved? Time to create a new git branch and see what I can do.
